This exciting approach is designed for use by whole services and organisations, and is used by over 6,000 mental health professionals.
This empowering course will give you best-practice tools to recognise, assess and manage risks including: suicide, self-neglect, violence and sexual assault. This training gives you APT accreditation in the DICES® System for 3 years, access to online resources similarly, and is easily renewable.
The course is available for teams and individuals and can be attended face-to-face or online - many organisations have multiple courses to train up all relevant personnel. Optionally, suitably qualified professionals in your organisation can also be trained to roll out the course in your organisation, under license.
Many professionals see risk assessment as anxiety-provoking, so we wanted to give some reliable guidance that is reassuring and empowering, exciting even! You will be registered as having attended the course, thereby gaining APT's Level 1 accreditation, and receive a certificate to this effect. The accreditation gives you access to online resources associated with the course and free access to the online exam if you wish to uprate your APT accreditation to Level 2. (Note, the exam to uprate your accreditation to Level 2 is inbuilt in the 'online anytime' version of the course.)
Your registration lasts indefinitely, and your accreditation lasts for 3 years and is renewable by sitting an online refresher which also upgrades your accreditation to APT Level 2 if you are successful in the associated online exam.
Your accreditation is given value by the fact of over 150,000 people having attended APT training. See APT accreditation for full details.
